Okay, I am officially in my annual Bah Humbug frame of mind! And here's why - no funds to shop for my peeps. So I have been going over and over this in my mind, trying to figure out how to have a nice Christmas for my children and grandchildren and assorted other loved ones. And I just turned over the page on my inspirational desk calendar and this is the quote for tomorrow: "Life, love and laughter - what priceless gifts to give." Now isn't that just the wake-up slap I needed!! It doesn't matter if I can't buy my usual amount of "stuff" this year, as long as we are all together and can share life, love and laughter. May I be the first to encourage you to remember the 3 L's when you are stressing about the holiday season, so that you can feel a bit of peace and joy rather than Bah Humbugging your way through the rest of this joyous season!!

- I am blessed! That is the first and foremost thing that I can tell you. God has given me an amazing family, He has blessed me with good health, and I have a wonderful and supportive network of friends. I have been married to the same man for 28 years. My children are 28, 25 and 18, and we have a wonderful son-in-law and daughter-in-law...and my granddaughters are 5, 3, 2 and 1.
