A Day That Will Live in Infamy

November 5th, 2008...I have awoken, or so I thought, to a new day in America. However, this has to be a nightmare because we now have a new President-elect. And his name is Barack Hussein Obama. So I must still be dreaming because the last I checked, I used to live in America, not a Muslim nation. May God help us all - He is the only One who can at this point. As I have heard many times in my life "be careful what you wish for, or you will surely get it." I wonder how long it will take the millions of misguided and uninformed voters who put this man in office to realize that he isn't their savior or the person they think he is. What a journey this land of ours is now on, and I pray for my children and grandchildren that it will not be too difficult to walk. At this point all I can do is repeat II Chronicles 7:14 to myself over and over - "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." The false messiah that the people of America have put on a pedestal will fail, as all men fail. Only God is in control and only He knows how this story will end - that is where I am putting my faith and trust. Please pray along with me for forgiveness and for continued blessings over our country...Mimi
