A Sprite Turns 2!

One of my beloved pixie-girls had a birthday today - our little Ava turned 2! I call the girls pixies because they are all bright and fun and full of life, and I copped the phrase from my dear friend Margaret. Our little Ava is a sprite, with an impish smile, big blue eyes and the sweetest little spirit. She is the female version of her daddy - Matt was always such a sweet boy and he has always had a sense of fun and playfulness about him. I see his independent streak in Ava, since she really just marches to the beat of her own drummer and really couldn't care less what the other pixies are up to when they visit Mimi's house! The older girls like to torment Ava at times, but in her own special style she just goes off and amuses herself. I can't wait to see what special things God has in store for little miss Ava - she is our special gift from heaven and I wish her the happiest of birthdays today!!
